Competitive Inline Hockey

We're excited to announce the launch of our Summer Inline Hockey program in Burlington. This program is for those rep hockey players that want something a bit different in the summer, while still working on skills that transfer to ice hockey. Fast and fun, the program will start with the fundamentals unique to Inline Hockey (eg. how to stop on wheels lol). After a few initial sessions the program will transfer into competive games. Uniforms and some fun swag is provided.

WHERE DO YOU PLAY?

Our games will be played in various City of Burlington Arenas where ice has been removed for the summer.

WHO will you play?

For this initial season we are expecting a minimum of TWO teams per age group. Teams will be playing each other and possibly the odd exhibition game against teams from Hamilton or Oakville.

WHAT ages and LEVEL of play?

Players who join our league should be rep calibre in ice hockey. The majority of ice hockey skills will transfer over to inline and this is our initial basis to ensure adequate skill. Unfortunately this program isn't one where we can mix House League level and Rep level players in the same program.

Players will need to fit into Atom (U11/U10), Peewee (U12/U13) and possibly Bantam (U15/U14) ages. THIS IS NON CONTACT.

When does the program run?

This program runs through part of June, July, and part of August. We expect times to be weekday afternoons and evenings with the odd weekend time slot.

Expect at minimum 12 to 14 games and practices total.

What gear do I need?

You'll need inline skates, CSA approved hockey helmet with full cage, stick, hockey gloves, shinpads, shoulder pads (optional), elbow pads.
